Amy Scarpinato, DVM

Hometown: East Chatham, NY

Dr. Scarpinato received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester. She received her DVM from Cornell University. Before joining our team at Rotterdam Veterinary hospital, Dr. Scarpinto worked in general practice for ten years and spent another year as a relief vet. In her free time Dr. Scarpinto enjoys hiking, birding and wildlife watching along with gardening. Her veterinary interest include internal medicine, feline medicine, senior care and pain management. Dr. Scarpinto is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Anna St. Sir, DVM

Hometown: Ballston Lake, NY

Dr. St. Sir attended Moscow State University and earned her DVM with honors. She worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice in Russia, and is currently working at Central Veterinary Hospital and Rotterdam Veterinary Hospital. Outside of work Dr. St. Sir enjoys spending time with her husband and son along with gardening, crocheting toys and cross-country skiing. Her veterinary interests include surgery, dentistry and ultrasonography. She is an active member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Sarah Kopa, DVM

Hometown: Galway, NY

Dr. Kopa studied at Houghton College to earn her undergraduate degree. She received her DVM from Cornell University. Outside of work Dr. Kopa enjoys skiing, hiking, dancing, attending concerts and spending time with her friends and family including her cat Henry and her black lab Kate. Her veterinary interest include surgery, dentistry and preventative medicine for her patients. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Associations, New York State Veterinary Medical Society and National Accredited Veterinary Practitioners.

Melodee Kopa, DVM

Hometown: Scotia, NY

Dr. Kopa received her undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence then attended Cornell University to earn her DVM. Prior to joining our team at RVH in 2015 Dr. Kopa spent over 20 years at Guilderland Animal Hospital. She has four pets at home that include her two golden retrieves Brighton and Micah as well as her two cats Ben and Bailey. Along with spending time traveling and with family, Dr. Kopa enjoys her time outdoors hiking, horseback riding, paddling, and birdwatching. Her veterinary interest include dermatology and ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Society, The Capital District Veterinary Medical Society.
